11 weeks old, blowing raspberries
2) In honor of his 12 week/3 month birthday, Nick slept through the night last night. As in, went down in his crib by 9:30pm, and woke up at 7:00am. Amazing! He's such a good baby, and I am so proud!
Big yawns for a sleepy boy!
3) My hubby is so wonderful. He gets up for work around 5:00am (sometimes earlier). And almost every morning, before he goes to work, he sets the coffee maker up to brew coffee right as I'm getting back from taking Nick to daycare. He also pulls out whatever he plans to make for dinner from the freezer, or marinates it if it's meat. Then when he gets home in the evening, he makes dinner, does laundry, gathers & washes dishes (that I guiltily have probably left on my desk from breakfast), and mows or weeds the yard. He is amazing -- and he never complains that all I want to do is snuggle and play with Nick. Of course I share him with Todd ;) Because aside from being a wonderful husband, he's also a wonderful daddy and Nick just grins and coos whenever he and Todd have a "conversation". :)
4) I wore regular pants yesterday! Granted they were so tight that I was hurting all day...and they gave me a bit of a muffin top, but I remedied that with a bloused out shirt. Regardless, I think I'm going to wear a dress today...no need to be uncomfortable two days in a row, right?
5) Whinnie is such a sweet pup. She's been a bit stressed lately about not being the center of attention anymore, and she has a particularly hard time with me oohing and ahhing over Nick when we get home from daycare. But in the mornings, after he's gone to daycare, and it's just she and I sitting in my home office, working until I head to the office at 10am, she sits under the desk at my feet, letting me know she's there. I love that girl.
"Somebody PWEASE pway wif me!"

And the fun is just beginning! I went back to work right when Sofia turned 3 months and I was so sad because she had just started being less of an infant (helplessly lying there) and more of a fun baby. Get ready for time to really start flying now! And the unexpectedly sad thing is that when he learns to do new things, it may only last for a few days before he's mastered it and is on to something else. I remember Sofia would make the cutest faces when she was learning to blow raspberries but then when she finally did it consistently, we never saw that particular expression again. Take every second and soak him up!!! (just like you've been doing)
And major props for the sleeping thing - he is waaaaay ahead of Sofia in that dept. as are you and Todd. My hubby just can't let her go at night...our bad. What an awesome baby boy you have! I can't wait to get him together with my girl. =)
