I just want to document it so that one day when Nick looks back and (hopefully) reads his dear old mom's blog book, he'll know exactly when it happened...
OSAMA BIN LADEN IS FINALLY DEAD!
Does his death even begin to make-up for the nearly 3,000 American lives lost on September 11, 2001? Not even close. Not even the smallest iota. But it does send a message. It shows terrorists around the world, that just because we are down -- does NOT mean we are out. America will continue to fight for it's justice and freedom. We will not cower and bury our heads in the sand. We will prevail!
And we'll put a boot in your ass...It's the American way! (Thanks Toby Keith)
God bless our armed forces and our contractors, who stare fear and death straight in the eye every day, and continue to fight for our freedom and serve our country around the clock, so that the rest of us back at home can sleep peacefully at night. We are a blessed nation...today is a great day of redemption...and we have a lot of soldiers to thank for that!
