I meant to blog about this earlier this week.
Monday night when I got home from work, Todd was on the computer up in the loft.
I went upstairs and sat on the couch and started chit-chatting with him about our days, bills, life, etc.
At one point we were discussing moving the bed out of the guest room (which will be the nursery) over to Keith's house.
I suggested Todd call Keith right then and there to sort out plans.
Todd picked up his phone and had a strange voicemail message. After playing it for me a few times, we couldn't figure out what it was regarding, or even if it was intended for him at all, so he deleted it.
After he deleted the message, the phone defaulted to his "favorites" page -- a list of his most called/favorite friends.
He smiled and happily said "look honey, you're my only favorite!" as he showed me my phone number next to a picture of me on the display screen of his phone.
I thought that was adorable and replied "aww, how come I get to be your favorite?"
and without missing a beat, he grinned even wider and said "because the dog doesn't have a cell phone!"
At least I know where I stand in our household rankings... ;)
