...about the U.S. Postal Service.
Problem #1: When my Dad mailed out the invitations, the next day a stack of them were sitting in my parents mail box. The Post Office saw the back side of the invites...the side with my parents address -- you know THE RETURN ADDRESS?!?! -- and sent them all to my parents house. Thus making whoever sorted that load of mail look completely incompetent, but more importantly delaying the arrival of the invites to our extremely important guests.
Problem #2: I applied for my Passport 3 or 4 days before Todd did. We both applied at the Post Office...and while they were different locations, Todd is now the proud and happy owner of his very own Passport, AND he has his birth certificate back in his posession, safe and secure. Lord only knows where my Passport and birth certificate are, because they certainly aren't in our house. If they aren't in the mailbox today or tomorrow, I might have to call the State Department and raise a little hell. I hope Todd doesn't end up in the DR without me!
On a happier note, the whole family is heading to Nationals Stadium tonight to watch the Red Sox sweep the Nats! GO SOX!

I went through the same passport craziness and it ended out working out just fine. I think my passport ended up being delivered via Fed Ex the DAY BEFORE we left for our honeymoon. Ugh! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!
