Case in point:
The other night we were watching "Restaurant Impossible" on the Food Network. I stated that I did not like the contrast of the bright blue walls versus the bright red chairs that they were painting to makeover this disaster of a restaurant.
My ohsosmart hubby said "yeah, but it's very German".
I raised an eyebrow in his direction and said "because you've been to Germany and know German interior design?"
To which he replied "no, but I've been to France..." and then chuckled "and they're basically the same..."
So I jabbed back with "they are SO not the same! you don't know anything about German fashion and decorating!"
Which he matter of factly stated "Sure I do. They like bright, solid colors. I've seen European Vacation a million times. That's how I know."
