We have an issue.
The past four nights or so, Nick has wet the bed.
I know, I know, he's a baby, he can't control it. But isn't that why they invented diapers?
He is currently wearing size 3's. Which go up to 28 lbs, and while he may be a solid lump of chub, he is far from 28 lbs.
Does this mean he just has a ridiculously small bladder? Or is it possibly the full 8 oz of formula he drinks just prior to passing out?
Either way, I think the excess peeing is also waking him up in the middle of the night.
Which is obviously not so fun for mommy & daddy.
But changing his diaper in the middle of the night involves a lot of movement, cold wipes, turning on the lights, and a baby that ultimately thinks having his diaper changed in the middle of the night means "let's just get up and party!"
Which means I'm also hesitant to change his wet pj's (terrible, I know) because changing clothes all together in the middle of the night would be a serious catastrophe. So instead, if I've noticed it in the middle of the night, I've let him continue sleeping with a small wet spot on his side. (Look, I know that's horrible, but I'm just keeping it real here)
Anyway, short of making him wear plastic pants to bed, are there any suggestions for keeping the pee in his diaper? I, as well as Nick's pj's, swaddle, sheets, and mattress pad, thank you.

I know a lot of baby boys with this problem. They sell special night time diapers that will help with that. They are a little more expensive but if you just use them at night you shouldn't go through them so fast. Good luck!@
What about trying a cloth diaper just for nights? My friends that CD swear they are way more absorbent and much better at nights than disposable diapers. I'm far too lazy to CD though, that means more laundry :) Good luck!!
