Just thought I'd take time out to blog about the fantastic, amazing, delicious pork tenderloin that my dear husband made for dinner tonight. As in, he made a dry rub for it (ground coffee, kosher salt, brown sugar, chili powder, and few other spices), slathered that pork up, went outside to work on the patio, and when he was finished with what he could do on the patio for the evening he came inside and proceeded to cook the tenderloin.
It. was. amazing.
But the best part was quite possibly the conversation that ensued as he cut into the meat:
Hubs: "I just got a whiff of it...smells like...darn it...what does it smell like??"
Me: "I can smell it! It smells delicious!"
Hubs: "yeah, I know, but what does it smell LIKE?"
Me: "Bologna"
Hubs: "Yes! That's it! Wait. Gross."
Hahaha.
Regardless, it. was. still. amazing.
