On Monday night I decided that since Todd was getting home a bit later than I was, due to playing in a golf tourney all day, that I would catch up on the 3 weeks of Grey's Anatomy that I had missed.
Todd got home when I was about 1/3 of the way into my second of the 3 episodes, and sat down on the couch with me to watch.
A commercial for "Private Practice" came on, and of course Todd swooned. Yes -- my husband's biggest celebrity crush is Kate Walsh.
As soon as the commercial was over and he had rolled his tongue back into his head, he sadly exclaimed "did you know Kate Walsh didn't even make Maxim's hot list?"
Like his dreams had been crushed.
I couldn't help but laugh and told him "um, did you know that Kate Walsh is over 40? I'm pretty sure that eliminates her from making the cut for Maxim's hot list."
Apparently that didn't make him feel any better.
Later, I was playing the "let's name our not-yet-conceived-unborn-children" game, and said "what about the name Hudson?"
Todd's reply was "like Rock Hudson?"
So I asked "who??" (apparently I LIVE under a rock).
His reply: "you know -- the famous actor from the 50's and 60's?!?!"
Ahh my adorable husband...the 87 year old man trapped in a 31 year old body. :) I heart him.
