This morning my mom emailed Matt (my brother) and I Glory Day's coupons and wrote in the email "In case you wanted to use your Glory Days gift cards, here's a coupon to use with them!"
I wrote back..."Glory Days gift card? What does that mean?" ya know, because I didn't have a Glory Days gift card (that I was aware of).
My mom wrote back "oh bummer. I just remembered I was going to send the gift cards in your Valentine's Day cards that I haven't sent yet. :("
She definitely ruined her own surprise.
Don't worry mom, I will love the gift card (and you!) regardless! :)
