20 Ideas for 2009

I'm not going to call them resolutions...or even goals...because I don't want to sell myself short --or have a guilty conscience if I don't ful-fill any of them. So this year, I am calling them my "Ideas" for 2009. Some thoughts if you will, about things I would like to do in 2009:

1.) Keep up with my blog. Sometimes I fall behind.

2.) Do more wedding planning. My mom is a great planner, but I'm sure she'd like my help.

3.) Get in shape. For real.

4.) Get new tires for my car. This is important.

5.) Cook more...eat less fast food/take out. (I will miss you, Arby's.)

6.) Find and buy (with Todd) a home to make our very own.

7.) Spend more time with Todd, my family, and my very dear friends. Have girls night at least once a month. Have family game night as often as possible. Have (go out on a) date night with Todd at least once a month.

8.) Be better at my coorespondence. i.e. send more birthday, anniversary, thank you, and congratulations cards.

9.) Figure out why Whinnie thinks the bathtub is a good place to go to the bathroom. Do not punish her for it, as it is not necessarily a bad thing.

10.) Use the Red Door Spa gift certificate Todd gave me for my birthday. Enjoy that he will be pleased...and I will be relaxed.

11.) Get Whinnie groomed more frequently. She is a rag-a-muffin.

12.) Throw a cocktail party. This can be loosely substituted with a gathering over hot dogs, burgers, beers, and football.

13.) Have Todd take me to Ann Arbor for a Michigan football game. I have enough attire to be suitably dressed.

14.) Go to a Redskins game with Dad. Something I have wanted to do since I realized that I actually enjoyed football.

15.) Have Todd and I take my Gramma & Grampa out to dinner on his house card.

16.) Visit Granny & PawPaw in Arkansas.

17.) Learn how to use the email function on my blackberry. And therefore...

18.) Work 10 times harder at my job.

19.) Get up earlier in the morning. By at least 20 minutes. Just a thought.

20.) GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!! :)

I think this list will be pretty easy for me to accomplish. In fact, I already feel accomplished just reading it. Cheers!
