Addendum to the gift of sight post: Because my eye doctor appointment had already taken nearly 3 hours, when my glasses were ready I didn't take out my contacts to try on my new spectacles. BIG mistake. When I put them on last night, I had severe tunnel vision. Weirdest feeling ever. Similar to what I imagine it would feel like to have vertigo. And Whinnie's head looked even smaller than the regular peanut size that it is. I'm pretty sure the prescription is too strong.
Looks like (no pun intended) I'll be making a trip back to the doctor once this blizzard clears out. Until then, I'm just going to suck it up, and wear my glasses. And possibly some horse blinders in combination to minimize the tunnel vision...
